I mentioned in a previous post how my youngest son is really fascinated with outer space right now. He is always full of questions about the earth, moon, sun, stars, other planets and the solar system. He constantly tells me he is a space explorer. I plan to take him and his brother to see Paramount Motion Pictures movie Interstellar next month. I'm looking forward to seeing Interstellar myself. With a director like Christopher Nolan and a cast including Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Michael Caine, Bill Irwin and Ellen Burstyn it has promise to be a good movie.

Snyopsis:
With our time on Earth coming to an end, a team of explorers undertakes the most important mission in human history; traveling beyond this galaxy to discover whether mankind has a future among the stars.
While we wait for Interstellar to land in theaters you can check out my Spaced Out (outer space activities for kids) board I have on Pinterest to have some out of this world fun with the kids to get them hyped about outer space and the Interstellar movie with a little family space exploration.
Follow Shanaka's board Spaced Out (outer space activities for kids) on Pinterest.
I found many outer space themed crafts and activities and even recipes that the kids can help make. Interstellar comes to IMAX on November 5th and everywhere on November 7th.
Do you have a craft or activity about outer space that your children enjoy? Leave me a link in the comments below so I can add it to my "Spaced Out" Pinterest board for my boys and I to try out.
