Shoes. Oh how I love thee. I went through my shoe closet yesterday and I had 30 pairs of shoes! I downsized to 18. Some I am taking to Goodwill and the others I threw away (Old Navy flip flops that had passed their prime). My boys have all most as many pairs of shoes as I did. Sad? Maybe but I like for them to have options. Baby B has owned 3 pairs of soft soled shoes but none were Robeez. Now he has the real deal.
We got the Brown Robeez Booties for 0-4 yrs old shown above (also available in blue and pink) to review in celebration of the Robeez 2009 Holiday Gift Guide Collection. I had to print all of the foot sizing charts to find out what size Baby B wore. He has big feet for a toddler I think. He wears a size 8 shoe. Big for an all most 2 yr old? Anywho... his feet were to big for The Mini Shoez Collection and the Robeez Tredz so that cut down my choices as far as size selection. Which I'm kind of glad b/c there are soooo many cute little boys Robeez that I would probably still be picking out a pair instead of getting a review posted.
The '09 Holiday Gift Guide Collection consists of The Soft Sole Collection, The Mini Shoez Collection, The Robeez Tredz and of course the Robeez Booties.
The Soft Sole Collection is the "traditional" Robeez style. My favorite of the soft soles are the blue Race Cars and would have been my next choice had I not got the Booties. Cute no? These shoes have the non slip soft soles, the elasticized ankles and are available in 0-4 yrs. These are good for indoor and light outdoor wear.
The Mini Shoez collection. These look like big people shoes but still have the elasticized ankles and soft soles but the soles are water repellent. These are available in sizes 2-5 (3-18 months). I think my favorite in this collection is the Loafer H&L. Sad that these were to small for Baby B. I should also mention that the Robeez Mini Shoez collection are winners of the PTPA award! So you know these shoes are parent tested, parent approved.
The Robeez Tredz collection have actual "true" soles on them. These are your outdoor made shoes though they still have the elasticized ankles on them. You can get the Tredz in sizes 3-7. My favorite of the Tredz for little boys are the Handsome in Espresso. Great for holiday photo ops I think.
Then we have the Robeez Booties collection. These look so warm and fuzzy I wish they made these for mommys (b/c I would surely buy them if they did). I liked the cozy ankle bootie too but chose the Brown Booties for Baby B.
I was afraid the fuzzy-ness of the insides of the Booties would be to much for Baby B's chunky feet and make them sweat and stink but they don't. I mean there is a little sweat there but not enought o amke his feet stink. He runs around the house in his booties too, literally! As I have mentioned before we have all hardwood floors so a non slip sole is a big plus for us. Can't be making ER trips b/c Baby B slipped and busted his face on something just b/c his shoes were to slick. I'm very pleased with our Robeez Booties and reccomend them to anyone with small children.
You can purchase any of the shoes mentioned above directly from Robeez in a local store or online. Through Dec. 9th 2009 you can get Free Shipping! As an added "make your heart feel good" bonus for every pair of Robeez purchased through December 23 2009 at Robeez.com, Robeez will donate a pair of shoes to K.I.D.S (Kids In Distressed Situations).
After looking through the Robeez '09 Holiday Gift Guide Collection and drooling on your keyboard at all the cuteness. You know you want a pair of Robeez for your little one don't cha?
Robeez is offering a free pair of shoes from the Holiday Gift Guide Collection to one of my readers! You get choice of size and gender but style is subjet to availability.
