1 out of every 6 people in America struggle with not having enough food. Show Your Helping Hand is a nationwide campaign to help Feeding America deliver meals to local food banks across the US. To raise awareness about the national issue of hunger, Hamburger Helper® is partnering with GRAMMY® Award-winning singer, songwriter and actor Tim McGraw to help Feeding America deliver millions of meals to local food banks through the Show Your Helping Hand™ campaign. You can watch Tim's PSA message on YouTube.
We all can support the Show Your Helping Hand campaign by submitting codes from specially marked boxes of Hamburger Helper at showyourhelpinghand.com or by logging on to make a donation. Hamburger Helper has already donated more than half a million dollars and will contribute up to an additional $100,000 to Feeding America through this program. Don’t think one code will make a difference? The 17 cents Hamburger Helper donates per code is enough for Feeding America to deliver one meal to a local food bank.
Hamburger Helper, thanks to My Blog Spark, offered me a Show Your Helping Hand prize pack and made a $10 donation to the Show Your Helping Hand campaign on my family's behalf. My boys and I like the Hamburger Helper meals, Daddy B? Not so much. We ate our skillet meal this week while Daddy B was gone hunting. They are so easy to fix. One pound. One pan. One happy family- It really is a great slogan for Hamburger Helper. You just add one pound of hamburger to the meal kit in 1 skillet and you have dinner. They have many different flavors you can choose from too. You can also get the Chicken and Tuna Helper meals if you don't/ can't eat beef. In the Show Your Helping Hand package I received was a Tim McGraw 'Southern Voice' cd, a box of Hamburger Helper and a foam Helping Hand. If your friends and family would like to try and win an autographed cd from Tim McGraw they can enter at www.showyourhelpinghand.com.
WIN IT! Hamburger Helper, through My Blog Spark, is offering 1 of Thrifty Mama B's readers the same prize pack that they sent me. It includes the Tim McGraw cd, box of Hamburger Helper and the foam Helping Hand.
