Last month I shared with you all about the upcoming LEGO KidsFest coming to Richmond, VA February 15-17. We also hosted a giveaway for tickets to LEGO KidsFest VA. The winner for the (2) LEGO KidsFest Tickets to the opening night session, Friday, February 15, 2013 4-8:30pm in Richmond Virginia was Carmelita P. If you haven't all ready purchased tickets for LEGO KidsFest tickets can not be purchased at the door this weekend or online anymore because all 3 days of all sessions have sold out! I finally told my boys that we were going. The boys are both super duper excited about going. The 8 year old is a little more excited than the 5 year old but they both are looking forward to it. I think my Mom is just as excited to be going as the boys are. I was showing my oldest the photos from previous tours and he is interested in the LEGO Games Arena, the Construction Zones and the Brick Pile. His first question was do they sell LEGO sets and games and stuff? I'm sure he'll be asking for something from the LEGO Retail and KidsFest Marketplace for sure now. This is our first LEGO KidsFest experience and I don't want to spend a lot of time wandering around lost or trying to figure out where everything is so I downloaded and printed a floor plan layout map of LEGO KidsFest. Hopefully with this we can get the most out of our day while we are there. I will be wearing my pedometer to see just how much walking I can do. Exercise can be fun right? I'll have lots of photos (review post coming next week) to share so if you are like me and have never attended I'll give you the inside look of what they have to offer so you can make plans to attend next year or find another event near you to get tickets for.
