I didnt weigh myself this week and won't be weighing myself in the a.m. either. Scale numbers just dont matter to me this week. Exciting news though. After reveling the success in wiimoms Julie M.'s 101 lb. weight loss and her fitting in to a size 2 capris I decided to go try some capris on myself b/c the button came off my favorite Old Navy pair I got for my b-day last year. Anywho... the last time I tried clothes on I discovered I could wear size 10s. Well get this, I bought a pair of shorts that are 8's and a pair of capris that are 6's! Yes I know each name brand sizes run different but come on a 6? Woot! I'll probably check the scale numbers out sometime next week to see what its looking like. For now I'm just trying to feel good in my 6s (wearing them right now).
I feel the need to thank a #Mamavation Sista right now. Kia, thank you for being a friend yesterday. I really, really needed someone and you stepped up to the challenge even though you didn't have to and have your own life to deal with. I appreciate you. GREATLY.
This week #Mamavation Monday is sponsored again by Earth Footwear. I didn't get any as an anniversary present so maybe this could be my chance to snag some. If not, I'll most likely save up to get myself a pair for my birthday in July. Must try out the goodness that is Earth Footwear.
Goals set for this coming week:
Take everything 1 small step at a time
Get my boys out more into this great (tad hot) weather we're having
water, water, water
visit our community famers market (I want fruit!)
choose paint for the boys room (not a health related goal but I'll get exercise by painting)
try and stay "green" in my first week of using my gruve
