Pop on over to the Popsicle website to watch a quick video on how to create your own Popsicle stick theater. It will give you something to do with the kids as it gets cooler outside and you start to pull together the "its too chilly to be outside long so let's do some crafts" list of things to do.
While you are over there you can sign up to get sneak peek emails on next month's #PopsicleTheater challenge. If you do the Popsicle theater craft and share a video you could be featured on the Popsicle site. I watched the Popsicle Rock Band video and that little guy is cute with his rock band. I think they really want a Popsicle.
We are out of Popsicles right now *gasp* so I'll be picking up a couple more boxes on my shopping trip this week. Sometimes we keep them in the original boxes in the freezer but sometimes for lack of freezer space I remove them from the boxes and keep them in the door of the freezer. Keeping them in the freezer this time will allow us to get to use our Popsicle box for a Popsicle theater a little quicker than waiting for us to eat all the Popsicles first though with my boys and I, it doesn't take long at all to go through a box.
What do you think your children could come up with for a Popsicle theater show? A music show? Maybe a Thanksgiving show? I know with the creative minds of my boys they will have some fun with a Popsicle theater or two. They'll probably each want their own. Don't forget to enjoy a Popsicle while you wait for the theater to be set up. I think I'll grab us some Pop Ups. What's your favorite kind of Popsicle?
